American Association on Health and Disability
The American Association on Health and Disability is a cross-disability nonprofit dedicated to ensuring health equity for children and adults with disabilities through policy, research, education and dissemination. AAHD is dedicated to integrating disability into the overall public health agenda and strives to advance health promotion and wellness initiatives for people with disabilities. As part of this work, AAHD leads a national outreach effort to recruit people with disabilities to participate in the All of Us Research Program. This Disability Community Engagement Partner Project (DCEPP) engages over 25 national and local organizations to increase disability participation in health research that advances precision medicine. AAHD programs aim to reduce health disparities between people with disabilities and the general population, while supporting full community inclusion and accessibility.
