Welcome to the 2023 APRIL CONFERENCE

Healthy Relationships in the Disabled Community

Mary Trunk

Session Overview:

Disabled individuals are at a higher risk for violent victimization than their non-disabled peers. Through Able South Carolina's "Healthy Relationships" training, consumers are equipped with the tools to identify signs of abuse and establish personal boundaries. Consumers are taught how to build strong, healthy relationships: an essential goal of independent living for those in the disability community.
