A Rural Conversation Community
Join us September 26, 2019 at 3:00 - 4:30 PM Eastern to be a part of the Rural Conversation Community.
The IL-NET National Training and Technical Assistance Center’s IL Conversation series is facilitated by APRIL, the Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living, and over the next year will be re-vamping the focus of this series to build a community of CILs serving rural areas to learn from one another, brainstorm together, and build peer support.
We will use a Zoom meeting instead of a webinar, so feel free to set up your web cam and join the conversation with your peers.
We will pick a new loose topic for each of the Rural Conversations coming up in the next year. For this first one on September 26th, bring your questions and solutions for Rural Outreach.
- How are you serving consumers who are in rural areas and can’t get to you at your office?
- What community partners are you engaging with in your remote or rural areas you serve?
- What struggles are you having that you would like to brainstorm solutions together for?
Please let us know who you are if you are planning on attending. We would love to begin to build a strong community of support to continue to make us all stronger within the network.
Please RSVP for the event and to receive login information at https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5200762/Rural-Conversation
